Serano

Serano is based on Bruce Kirby's Norwalk Island Sharpie design. She is a 31 foot hard chined boat with a deep keel and bulb and a fin rudder. The modifications to Serano's design were done by Fred Barrett, a Tasmanian Naval Architect. Fred designed the high aspect ratio fractional sloop rig as well as the fin keel and rudder.
Serano was built by Angelo Perry of Able Marine in Kettering, Tasmania Australia.
Angelo was assisted by Duncan, Rob, Sam, Els, Jessie, Mick & Luke Burrows,
Steve Reid and other Kettering craftspeople.
